Bollywood Live in Concert is bollywood theme show, the famous bollywood playback singer Abhijeet will perform live on stage. Abhijeet has given his voice for actors such as Shahrukh Khan,Sunil Shetty, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar,Govinda,Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Deol, Saif Ali Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan. Abhijeet left home for Mumbai in 1981 to study Meraisi. Due to his fascination for singing and music, he decided to pursue a career in playback singing and quit Chartered Accountancy. Despite being gifted with a melodious voice, he struggled for a long time. After his long struggle in Mumbai, he received a call from Rahul Dev Burman to sing for Dev Anand's sons debut film. Abhijeet also sang with Kishore Kumar, his idol, in the same film.In the 1990s, Abhijeet established himself as a notable playback singer. His first notable hits were the songs from the film Baaghi, composed by Anand-Milind - Ek chanchal shokh hasina, Chandni raat hai and Har kasam se badi hai. Child centred community development is the term we use to describe how we aim to do our development work. It’s a rights based approach to development where we support communities to develop the structures and skills they need to provide a safe and healthy environment in which children are able to realise their full potential.

In the past our community development programs benefited children, but we worked largely with the adult community members. Now, with increased focus on children’s rights, we involve children as active participants in the development process.

As a result of the success of these changes, Plan has adopted Child Centred Community Development as its program approach. This integrates the more recently developed methods of working with children and our long experience of community development.

Children's Rights in India

In India, many children experience various forms of violence, exploitation and abuse. They are forced to work in intolerable conditions or trafficked into sexual trade. Children are also subjected to corporal punishment at school and forced into child marriage.

Children in such circumstances have their rights denied in the most fundamental way.

Plan and our partners work to create protective and supportive environments in which both girls and boys are safe from violence and exploitation, their rights are protected and each child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
